 Camp 1914

Tuesday Nights Adventure Club

We call our Children's Ministry "Camp 1914."

The name is based on Matthew 19:14, where Jesus displayed His love for kids with the invitation, "Let the little children come to Me." Based on this verse, along with the adventurous theme of camping, we've divided our kids into three different "cabins" according to children’s ages: Hummingbird Cabin, Deer Cabin, and Owl Cabin.
Nursery "HUMMINGBIRD CABIN"
Our Hummingbird Cabin serves the babies and toddlers of the church (ages 0-3). Babies and toddlers are welcome to join the nursery after our time of worship and before the sermon each Sunday. Parents are given a numbered pager, to be returned when kids are picked up at the end of the service. There is also cry room available for parents and newborns in the mini nursery upstairs.
Ages 4-6 "DEER CABIN"
Our Deer Cabin serves school-aged children from ages 4-6. We use the Generations of Grace curriculum, published by Grace Community Church, because of its detailed and Christ-centric approach to learning the whole counsel of God's Word. Kids are dismissed to Sunday School after our time of worship and before the sermon each Sunday, and return to parents toward the end of the sermon. This allows them to take part in communion if parents so choose.
Ages 7-9 "OWL CABIN"
Our Owl Cabin primarily serves school-aged children from ages 7-9, but 10 year olds are welcome to join as well. Some of our 10 year olds sit in service instead - it's up to the parents! They also use the Generations of Grace curriculum! Kids are dismissed to Sunday School after our time of worship and before the sermon each Sunday, and return to parents toward the end of the sermon. This allows them to take part in communion if parents so choose.
11 & Older
Children 11 years and older are asked to sit in the service with their parents. They are welcome to grab an activity folder from the wood box in the foyer outside the sanctuary (next to the double doors by the stairs). There are white Deer Cabin folders for ages 4-6, and blue Owl Cabin folders for ages 7+.
Fifth Sunday of the Month
All of our kiddos ages 4+ stretch their listening muscles by sitting in the service each fifth Sunday of the month (on the months that include a fifth Sunday). Nursery children are an exception; nursery is provided every Sunday of the month throughout the year. Our activity folders are especially useful on those Sundays!
Adventure Club is a high energy week night program that will reach children age 3 through 6th grade. This program is a fun, energetic, Bible centered experience for kids!

Bring your kids for a fun night of games, singing, snacks, and study in God's word. Kids will be provided books and gear to be able to take home and work on lessons as well as scripture memorizations that can earn them rewards and pins to display on their official Adventure Club satchel!
