Youth

"Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ."
Colossians 1:28

Growing Together.

Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are welcome here.

The youth ministry at Chapel in the Hills aims to point young men and women to faith in Jesus Christ. Our goal is to present everyone mature in Christ and to help equip the next generation for the mission of the Gospel.

Our Youth Coordinator is Duane Schanke, and he is passionate about helping young men and women grow into godly adults. Perhaps junior high and high school are some of the most difficult years in life, and our youth ministry is determined to come along side our youth and walk with them on the way.

When & Where?

Our youth group meets every 2nd and 4th Sunday from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. It takes place in our fellowship hall and food is provided.

What Do We Do?

The first 45 minutes are meal and games, with lots of food (including Duane's favorite - CHEESE!). Then Duane typically presents a 20-30 minute message with space for dicussion. Finally, we end with prayer and some more fun and games. We hope to see you soon!

Sunday Night

6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

We meet at the church in the fellowship hall every 2nd & 4th Sunday. If you have any questions, feel free to email Duane.

Care Groups

Get Connected. Go Deeper.

At the Chapel in the Hills, we have decided to name our small group ministries “Care Groups (CG),” because these groups help us to care for one another as Jesus commanded (c.f. Jn. 13:34-35). The “one another” commands are extremely important within the Christian life and community, and they simply cannot be fulfilled on Sunday morning alone. Therefore, the Church must commit to live life together in community. Thus, these CGs are discipleship focused, cross-generational small groups of five to ten people that meet in Chapel members’ homes throughout the week.
